Subject Matter Experts
Location: Bengaluru/Chennai
Experience required: 5-10 years of relevant academic experience. Freshers will also be strongly considered based on skills. Applicants with greater experience and relevant skills could be considered for Subject Head roles.
Subjects: Physics, Biology, Computer Science, Maths, and Tamil
Roles/Responsibilities:
Create and review: multiple choice questions, open-ended questions, practical
assessments.
Review specific subject content (including written content and videos)
Follow assessment rubrics for review, and help iterate over time to improve the same
Maintain and update relevant question banks.
Skills/Experience needed:
Deep understanding and interest in subject concepts in the specific domain.
Understanding general and subject-specific pedagogy is not necessary but a plus.
Interest in learning about pedagogy is a must-have.
Strong analytical and qualitative reasoning skills; good data-handling skills and comfort
with MS Excel / Google Sheets.
Drive, perseverance, rigor, and attention to detail.
We are open to individuals with a deep understanding of the subject (including students of higher education), who are not directly associated with teaching.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in the subject applied for; B.Ed/M.Ed preferred, but not necessary.
