CERTIFICATION

CENTA Certification and Micro-Credentials signal your professional excellence in teaching.
CENTA Certification and Micro-Credentials is a certification for Grade 1 to 12 teachers, designed to recognize outstanding teachers and connect them to a range of opportunities. It is based on the CENTA Standards. If you are a full-time teacher, supplementary or voluntary teacher or an aspiring teacher such as a B.Ed student or a professional fellow in Education, the CENTA Certification is meant for you.
CENTA Certification and Micro-Credentials aim to:
Several reputed schools and institutions, such as GEMS International Schools in India and UAE, Podar International Schools, Global India International School and Lodha World School are giving weightage to CENTA Certified teachers in their recruitment.
CENTA Certification has a thorough research-backed approach with the involvement of who's who in education.
CENTA Certification taught me something different at every step. Professionally, I am stronger, sharper and smarter now.
CENTA Certification currently consists of five Micro-Credentials.
* The first four Micro-Credentials can be taken independently and at the candidate’s own pace. CENTA Micro-Credentials are relevant for specific roles/opportunities. All five modules, when completed successfully, add up to the CENTA Certification. Additional specialist modules will be added over time; for example, Technology in Education, Diversity & Inclusion.

Details of competencies tested in each Micro-Credential, along with submission requirements and the assessment instruments used
One week or one month, take your pick.
The submission timeline for each Micro-Credential can be spread over a month/30 days. The proctored test will be scheduled in the last week of the one-month window (on Friday-Saturday unless it is a public holiday, in which case it will be scheduled for the following day).
CENTA will declare the results within two months of the candidate taking a particular Micro-Credential. For instance, if a candidate enrols in December, the results will be declared in February. Enrolment for the CENTA Certification in any subject-grade will start when the first Micro-Credential for the particular subject-grade combination is available.
