This was post a workshop on teacher coaching by CENTA's founders, emphasizing the importance of modifying coaching styles in
line with the person and situation, and the importance of both professional development
and opportunities in the broader growth of teachers.
Global Alliance on Teachers
CENTA has been invited into of a Global Alliance of 10 reputed organizations working on the topic of teachers. Facilitated by Varkey Foundation, the informal voluntary Alliance includes representatives from: three leading universities - Harvard Graduate School of Education, US, University of Helsinki, Finland, National Institute of Education, Singapore; two governments - ministries of education from Argentina and Italy; two transnational associations - Education International, Belgium and Association for Devmt of Education in Africa; and leading non-profits from UK, Kenya, UAE and Brazil. We look forward to taking inputs from many of you as we contribute to a global white paper over the next one year.
