Prior to founding CENTA, Ramya was with McKinsey & Company for 15+ years and part of the firm's leadership group in India. For 10 years, she served clients across several industry sectors and geographies, and then decided to pursue her long-standing passion for education. As Leader of McKinsey's Education Practice for the last 5+ years, she has driven many large scale and pioneering efforts in education and skills in India.

Nalini Haridas co-founded Centre for Teacher Accreditation (CENTA), formalizing her long standing interest in school education and specifically the quality of teaching and learning. Her interest in education spans across areas such as teaching effectiveness; learning areas such as garden science, design and technology, learning at museums; education systems such as indigenous learning systems.
